NASB : He issued a proclamation and it said, "In Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let man, beast, herd, or flock taste a thing. Do not let them eat or drink water.
NASB# : He issued<2199> a proclamation<2199> and it said<559>, "In Nineveh<5210> by the decree<2940> of the king<4428> and his nobles<1419>: Do not let man<120>, beast<929>, herd<1241>, or flock<6629> taste<2938> a thing<3972>. Do not let them eat<7462> or drink<8354> water<4325>.
