Mereka menolak ketetapan-Nya dan perjanjian-Nya yang telah diadakan dengan nenek moyang mereka juga peraturan-peraturan-Nya yang telah diperingatkan-Nya kepada mereka mereka mengikuti dewa kesia-siaan sehingga mereka mengikuti bangsa-bangsa yang di sekeliling mereka walaupun TUHAN telah memerintahkan kepada mereka janganlah berbuat seperti mereka itu
