Dan Daud menetap di kubu pertahanan itu dan menamainya Kota Daud Ia memperkuatnya sekelilingnya mulai dari Milo ke bagian dalam

2 Samuel 5:17

Ketika didengar orang Filistin bahwa Daud telah diurapi menjadi raja atas Israel maka majulah semua orang Filistin untuk menangkap Daud Tetapi Daud mendengar hal itu lalu ia pergi ke kubu pertahanan
