Lalu raja memerintahkan kepada bentara yang berdiri di dekatnya Majulah dan bunuhlah para imam TUHAN itu sebab mereka membantu Daud sebab walaupun mereka tahu bahwa ia melarikan diri mereka tidak memberitahukan hal itu kepadaku Tetapi para pegawai raja tidak mau mengangkat tangannya untuk memarang imam-imam TUHAN itu

Lalu berkatalah raja kepada Doeg Majulah engkau dan paranglah para imam itu Maka majulah Doeg orang Edom itu lalu memarang para imam itu Ia membunuh pada hari itu delapan puluh lima orang yang memakai baju efod dari kain lenan
