Saul bertanya kepada Allah Bolehkah aku mengejar orang Filistin itu Akan Kauserahkankah mereka ke dalam tangan orang Israel Tetapi pada hari itu Ia tidak menjawab Saul

Tetapi kata Saul Aku telah berdosa tetapi tunjukkanlah juga hormatmu kepadaku sekarang di depan para tua-tua bangsaku dan di depan orang Israel Kembalilah bersama-sama dengan aku maka aku akan sujud menyembah kepada TUHAN Allahmu
