Tetapi Adoni-Bezek melarikan diri lalu mereka mengejarnya menangkapnya dan memotong ibu jari dari tangannya dan dari kakinya

Ketika Ahazia raja Yehuda melihat itu maka iapun melarikan diri ke arah Bet-Hagan tetapi Yehu mengejarnya sambil berkata Panahlah dia juga Maka mereka memanah dia di atas keretanya di pendakian ke Gur dekat Yibleam Ia lari ke Megido dan mati di sana
