Karena daerah bani Dan telah menjadi terlalu sempit untuk mereka maka berjalanlah bani Dan itu maju dan berperang melawan kota Lesem Mereka merebutnya memarang penduduknya dengan mata pedang dan mendudukinya Lalu menetaplah mereka di sana dan menamai Lesem itu Dan menurut nama Dan bapa leluhur mereka
