Ketika semua raja orang Amori di sebelah barat sungai Yordan dan semua raja orang Kanaan di tepi laut mendengar bahwa TUHAN telah mengeringkan air sungai Yordan di depan orang Israel sampai mereka dapat menyeberang tawarlah hati mereka dan hilanglah semangat mereka menghadapi orang Israel itu
