Joshua 3:15

Segera sesudah para pengangkat tabut itu sampai ke sungai Yordan dan para imam pengangkat tabut itu mencelupkan kakinya ke dalam air di tepi sungai itu sungai Yordan itu sebak sampai meluap sepanjang tepinya selama musim menuai

Joshua 4:18

Ketika para imam pengangkat tabut perjanjian TUHAN itu keluar dari tengah-tengah sungai Yordan dan baru saja kaki para imam itu dijejakkan di tanah yang kering maka berbaliklah air sungai Yordan itu ke tempatnya dan mengalir seperti dahulu dengan meluap sepanjang tepinya

Mereka itulah yang menyeberangi sungai Yordan di bulan pertama sekalipun sungai itu meluap sepanjang tepinya dan merekalah yang menghalau seluruh penduduk lembah ke sebelah timur dan ke sebelah barat
