Lalu Abraham mengambil kayu untuk korban bakaran itu dan memikulkannya ke atas bahu Ishak anaknya sedang di tangannya dibawanya api dan pisau Demikianlah keduanya berjalan bersama-sama

Sesudah itu Abraham mengulurkan tangannya lalu mengambil pisau untuk menyembelih anaknya
