Deuteronomy 19:5

misalnya apabila seseorang pergi ke hutan dengan temannya untuk membelah kayu ketika tangannya mengayunkan kapak untuk menebang pohon kayu mata kapak terlucut dari gagangnya lalu mengenai temannya sehingga mati maka ia boleh melarikan diri ke salah satu kota itu dan tinggal hidup

Deuteronomy 20:19

Apabila dalam memerangi suatu kota engkau lama mengepungnya untuk direbut maka tidak boleh engkau merusakkan pohon-pohon sekelilingnya dengan mengayunkan kapak kepadanya buahnya boleh kaumakan tetapi batangnya janganlah kautebang sebab pohon yang di padang itu bukan manusia jadi tidak patut ikut kaukepung
