Deuteronomy 15:2

Inilah cara penghapusan itu setiap orang yang berpiutang harus menghapuskan apa yang dipinjamkannya kepada sesamanya janganlah ia menagih dari sesamanya atau saudaranya karena telah dimaklumkan penghapusan hutang demi TUHAN

Yoyakim memberi emas dan perak itu kepada Firaun tetapi ia menarik pajak dari negeri supaya dapat memberi uang itu sesuai dengan titah Firaun Ia menagih emas dan perak itu dari rakyat negeri dari setiap orang menurut jumlah ketetapan pajaknya untuk memberikannya kepada Firaun Nekho
