Deuteronomy 11:2

Kamu tahu sekarang kukatakan bukan kepada anak-anakmu yang tidak mengenal dan tidak melihat hajaran TUHAN Allahmu kebesaran-Nya tangan-Nya yang kuat dan lengan-Nya yang teracung

Jeremiah 2:30

Sia-sia Aku telah memukuli anak-anakmu hajaran tidaklah mereka terima pedangmu sendiri telah memakan habis para nabimu seperti singa muda yang memusnahkan

Jeremiah 5:3

Ya TUHAN tidakkah mata-Mu terarah kepada kebenaran Engkau memukul mereka tetapi mereka tidak kesakitan Engkau meremukkan mereka tetapi mereka tidak mau menerima hajaran Mereka mengeraskan kepalanya lebih dari pada batu dan mereka tidak mau bertobat

Semua kekasihmu melupakan engkau mereka tidak menanyakan engkau lagi Sungguh Aku telah memukul engkau dengan pukulan musuh dengan hajaran yang bengis karena kesalahanmu banyak dosamu berjumlah besar
