Dan dahulu di Seir diam orang Hori tetapi bani Esau telah menduduki daerah mereka memunahkan mereka dari hadapannya lalu menetap di sana menggantikan mereka seperti yang dilakukan orang Israel dengan negeri miliknya yang diberikan TUHAN kepada mereka
