Numbers 11:25

Lalu turunlah TUHAN dalam awan dan berbicara kepada Musa kemudian diambil-Nya sebagian dari Roh yang hinggap padanya dan ditaruh-Nya atas ketujuh puluh tua-tua itu ketika Roh itu hinggap pada mereka kepenuhanlah mereka seperti nabi tetapi sesudah itu tidak lagi

Demikianlah Allah membalaskan kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh Abimelekh kepada ayahnya yaitu pembunuhan atas ketujuh puluh saudaranya

Tatkala surat itu sampai kepada mereka mereka mengambil anak-anak raja itu menyembelih ketujuh puluh orang itu menaruh kepala orang-orang itu ke dalam keranjang dan mengirimkan semuanya kepada Yehu di Yizreel

Jeremiah 25:12

Kemudian sesudah genap ketujuh puluh tahun itu demikianlah firman TUHAN maka Aku akan melakukan pembalasan kepada raja Babel dan kepada bangsa itu oleh karena kesalahan mereka juga kepada negeri orang-orang Kasdim dengan membuatnya menjadi tempat-tempat yang tandus untuk selama-lamanya
