Leviticus 19:22

Imam harus mengadakan pendamaian bagi orang itu dengan domba jantan korban penebus salah di hadapan TUHAN karena dosa yang telah diperbuatnya sehingga ia beroleh pengampunan dari dosanya itu

Numbers 15:25

Maka haruslah imam mengadakan pendamaian bagi segenap umat Israel sehingga mereka beroleh pengampunan sebab hal itu terjadi tidak dengan sengaja dan karena mereka telah membawa persembahan-persembahan mereka sebagai korban api-apian bagi TUHAN juga korban penghapus dosa mereka di hadapan TUHAN karena hal yang tidak disengaja itu

Segenap umat Israel akan beroleh pengampunan juga orang asing yang tinggal di tengah-tengahmu karena hal itu dilakukan oleh seluruh bangsa itu dengan tidak sengaja

Baiklah orang fasik meninggalkan jalannya dan orang jahat meninggalkan rancangannya baiklah ia kembali kepada TUHAN maka Dia akan mengasihaninya dan kepada Allah kita sebab Ia memberi pengampunan dengan limpahnya
