Leviticus 14:8

Orang yang akan ditahirkan itu haruslah mencuci pakaiannya mencukur seluruh rambutnya dan membasuh tubuhnya dengan air maka ia menjadi tahir Sesudah itu ia boleh masuk ke dalam perkemahan tetapi harus tinggal di luar kemahnya sendiri tujuh hari lamanya

Maka pada hari yang ketujuh ia harus mencukur seluruh rambutnya rambut kepala janggut alis bahkan segala bulunya harus dicukur pakaiannya dicuci dan tubuhnya dibasuh dengan air maka ia menjadi tahir

Apabila ia mencukur rambutnya pada akhir tiap-tiap tahun ia mencukurnya karena menjadi terlalu berat baginya maka ditimbangnya rambutnya itu dua ratus syikal beratnya menurut batu timbangan raja
