Leviticus 12:4

Selanjutnya tiga puluh tiga hari lamanya perempuan itu harus tinggal menantikan pentahiran dari darah nifas tidak boleh ia kena kepada sesuatu apapun yang kudus dan tidak boleh ia masuk ke tempat kudus sampai sudah genap hari-hari pentahirannya

Leviticus 12:6

Bila sudah genap hari-hari pentahirannya maka untuk anak laki-laki atau anak perempuan haruslah dibawanya seekor domba berumur setahun sebagai korban bakaran dan seekor anak burung merpati atau burung tekukur sebagai korban penghapus dosa ke pintu Kemah Pertemuan dengan menyerahkannya kepada imam

Leviticus 14:2

Inilah yang harus menjadi hukum tentang orang yang sakit kusta pada hari pentahirannya ia harus dibawa kepada imam

Leviticus 14:23

Pada hari yang kedelapan ia harus membawa semuanya untuk pentahirannya kepada imam ke depan pintu Kemah Pertemuan di hadapan TUHAN

Tetapi apabila seseorang mati di dekatnya dengan sangat tiba-tiba sehingga ia menajiskan rambut kenazirannya maka haruslah ia mencukur rambutnya pada hari pentahirannya yaitu pada hari yang ketujuh haruslah ia mencukurnya

Sesudah pentahirannya ia harus menghitung tujuh hari
