Maka sekarang jika aku kiranya mendapat kasih karunia di hadapan-Mu beritahukanlah kiranya jalan-Mu kepadaku sehingga aku mengenal Engkau supaya aku tetap mendapat kasih karunia di hadapan-Mu Ingatlah bahwa bangsa ini umat-Mu

Exodus 33:16

Dari manakah gerangan akan diketahui bahwa aku telah mendapat kasih karunia di hadapan-Mu yakni aku dengan umat-Mu ini Bukankah karena Engkau berjalan bersama-sama dengan kami sehingga kami aku dengan umat-Mu ini dibedakan dari segala bangsa yang ada di muka bumi ini

Exodus 34:9

serta berkata Jika aku telah mendapat kasih karunia di hadapan-Mu ya Tuhan berjalanlah kiranya Tuhan di tengah-tengah kami sekalipun bangsa ini suatu bangsa yang tegar tengkuk tetapi ampunilah kesalahan dan dosa kami ambillah kami menjadi milik-Mu
