Lihat Aku menyamakan engkau dengan pohon aras di Libanon penuh dengan cabang yang elok dan daun yang rumpun sekali tumbuhnya sangat tinggi puncaknya sampai ke langit

Oleh sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH Oleh karena ia tumbuh tinggi dan puncaknya menjulang sampai ke langit dan ia menjadi sombong karena ketinggiannya

Semuanya ini terjadi supaya segala pohon yang di tepi air jangan meninggikan dirinya dan puncaknya jangan dijulurkan sampai ke langit dan supaya pohon-pohon besar yaitu semua yang menghisap banyak air jangan tetap berdiri di dalam kecongkakannya sebab mereka semuanya telah diserahkan ke dalam maut ke dalam bumi yang paling bawah di tengah anak-anak manusia yang telah turun ke liang kubur
