Jeremiah 49:14

Suatu kabar telah kudengar dari TUHAN seorang utusan telah disuruh ke tengah-tengah bangsa-bangsa Berkumpullah pergilah menyerangnya bersiaplah untuk bertempur

Maka suatu bangsa maju menyerangnya dari utara membuat negerinya menjadi tempat tandus tidak ada lagi yang diam di dalamnya baik manusia maupun binatang semuanya lari lenyap

Bertempiksoraklah menyerangnya dari segala pihak Dia sudah menyerah tonggak-tonggaknya sudah rebah pagar-pagarnya sudah runtuh Sungguh itulah pembalasan TUHAN Laksanakanlah pembalasan terhadapnya lakukanlah kepadanya seperti yang dilakukannya sendiri

Majulah ke negeri Merataim majulah menyerangnya dan menyerang penduduk Pekod Bunuhlah dan tumpaslah mereka demikianlah firman TUHAN lakukanlah tepat seperti yang Kuperintahkan
