Pada permulaan pemerintahan Yoyakim anak Yosia raja Yehuda datanglah firman ini dari TUHAN bunyinya

Kemudian berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Hosea Berilah nama Yizreel kepada anak itu sebab sedikit waktu lagi maka Aku akan menghukum keluarga Yehu karena hutang darah Yizreel dan Aku akan mengakhiri pemerintahan kaum Israel
