Isaiah 24:2

Maka seperti nasib rakyat demikianlah nasib imam seperti nasib hamba laki-laki demikianlah nasib tuannya seperti nasib hamba perempuan demikianlah nasib nyonyanya seperti nasib pembeli demikianlah nasib penjual seperti nasib peminjam demikianlah nasib yang meminjamkan seperti nasib orang yang berhutang demikianlah nasib orang yang berpiutang

Ezekiel 7:12

Waktunya datang harinya mendekat Biarlah si pembeli jangan bergembira dan biarlah si penjual jangan berdukacita karena kehangatan murka tertimpa atas segala kegemparan mereka

Sebab si penjual tidak akan kembali kepada jualannya kalaupun mereka masih di tengah-tengah orang hidup karena kehangatan murka tertimpa atas segala kegemparan mereka dan tidak dapat ditahan lagi dan seorangpun tidak dapat mempertahankan hidupnya oleh karena kesalahannya
