Ketika dilihat oleh orang Israel betapa besarnya perbuatan yang dilakukan TUHAN terhadap orang Mesir maka takutlah bangsa itu kepada TUHAN dan mereka percaya kepada TUHAN dan kepada Musa hamba-Nya itu

Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa Sesungguhnya Aku akan datang kepadamu dalam awan yang tebal dengan maksud supaya dapat didengar oleh bangsa itu apabila Aku berbicara dengan engkau dan juga supaya mereka senantiasa percaya kepadamu Lalu Musa memberitahukan perkataan bangsa itu kepada TUHAN
