Sementara orang itu berbicara datanglah orang lain dan berkata Orang-orang Kasdim membentuk tiga pasukan lalu menyerbu unta-unta dan merampasnya serta memukul penjaganya dengan mata pedang Hanya aku sendiri yang luput sehingga dapat memberitahukan hal itu kepada tuan

Orang-orang Kasdim yang memerangi kota ini akan datang membakarnya dan menghanguskannya serta dengan rumah-rumah yang di atas sotohnya orang membakar korban kepada Baal dan mempersembahkan korban curahan kepada allah lain untuk menimbulkan sakit hati-Ku

Beginilah firman TUHAN Janganlah kamu membohongi dirimu sendiri dengan mengatakan Orang-orang Kasdim itu telah pergi untuk selamanya dari pada kita Padahal mereka tidak pergi untuk selamanya
