Di tiap-tiap daerah ke mana titah dan undang-undang raja telah sampai ada perkabungan yang besar di antara orang Yahudi disertai puasa dan ratap tangis oleh banyak orang dibentangkan kain kabung dengan abu sebagai lapik tidurnya
