Dalam bulan pertama yakni bulan Nisan dalam tahun yang kedua belas zaman raja Ahasyweros orang membuang pur yakni undi di depan Haman hari demi hari dan bulan demi bulan sampai jatuh pada bulan yang kedua belas yakni bulan Adar
