Setelah mereka menegor dia berhari-hari dengan tidak didengarkannya juga maka hal itu diberitahukan merekalah kepada Haman untuk melihat apakah sikap Mordekhai itu dapat tetap sebab ia telah menceritakan kepada mereka bahwa ia orang Yahudi
