Nehemiah 1:3

Kata mereka kepadaku Orang-orang yang masih tinggal di daerah sana yang terhindar dari penawanan ada dalam kesukaran besar dan dalam keadaan tercela Tembok Yerusalem telah terbongkar dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya telah terbakar

AV: And they said <0559> (8799) unto me, The remnant <07604> (8737) that are left <07604> (8738) of the captivity <07628> there in the province <04082> [are] in great <01419> affliction <07451> and reproach <02781>: the wall <02346> of Jerusalem <03389> also [is] broken down <06555> (8794), and the gates <08179> thereof are burned <03341> (8738) with fire <0784>.

Nehemiah 2:3

Jawabku kepada raja Hiduplah raja untuk selamanya Bagaimana mukaku tidak akan muram kalau kota tempat pekuburan nenek moyangku telah menjadi reruntuhan dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya habis dimakan api

Nehemiah 2:13

Demikian pada malam hari aku keluar melalui pintu gerbang Lebak ke jurusan mata air Ular Naga dan pintu gerbang Sampah Aku menyelidiki dengan seksama tembok-tembok Yerusalem yang telah terbongkar dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya yang habis dimakan api

Nehemiah 2:17

Berkatalah aku kepada mereka Kamu lihat kemalangan yang kita alami yakni Yerusalem telah menjadi reruntuhan dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya telah terbakar Mari kita bangun kembali tembok Yerusalem supaya kita tidak lagi dicela

Jeremiah 14:2

Yehuda berkabung pintu-pintu gerbangnya rebah dan dengan sedih terhantar di tanah jeritan Yerusalem naik ke atas

Jeremiah 17:27

Tetapi apabila kamu tidak mendengarkan perintah-Ku untuk menguduskan hari Sabat dan untuk tidak masuk mengangkut barang-barang melalui pintu-pintu gerbang Yerusalem pada hari Sabat maka di pintu-pintu gerbangnya Aku akan menyalakan api yang akan memakan habis puri-puri Yerusalem dan yang tidak akan terpadamkan

Jeremiah 51:58

Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam Tembok-tembok tebal Babel akan disamaratakan dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya yang tinggi akan dibakar dengan api sehingga bangsa-bangsa bersusah-susah untuk yang sia-sia dan suku-suku bangsa berlelah untuk api saja
