Ezra 7:24

Lagipula kami beritahukan kepadamu bahwa tidaklah sah bila para imam orang Lewi penyanyi penunggu pintu gerbang budak di bait Allah dan para hamba rumah Allah dikenakan pajak upeti atau bea

Daniel 2:48

Lalu raja memuliakan Daniel dianugerahinyalah dengan banyak pemberian yang besar dan dibuatnya dia menjadi penguasa atas seluruh wilayah Babel dan menjadi kepala semua orang bijaksana di Babel

Sesudah itu sangatlah cemas hati raja Belsyazar dan ia menjadi pucat juga para pembesarnya terperanjat

Daniel 6:13

Lalu kata mereka kepada raja Daniel salah seorang buangan dari Yehuda tidak mengindahkan tuanku ya raja dan tidak mengindahkan larangan yang tuanku keluarkan tetapi tiga kali sehari ia mengucapkan doanya

Daniel 6:14

Setelah raja mendengar hal itu maka sangat sedihlah ia dan ia mencari jalan untuk melepaskan Daniel bahkan sampai matahari masuk ia masih berusaha untuk menolongnya

Lalu pergilah raja ke istananya dan berpuasalah ia semalam-malaman itu ia tidak menyuruh datang penghibur-penghibur dan ia tidak dapat tidur

Daniel 6:23

Lalu sangat sukacitalah raja dan ia memberi perintah supaya Daniel ditarik dari dalam gua itu Maka ditariklah Daniel dari dalam gua itu dan tidak terdapat luka apa-apa padanya karena ia percaya kepada Allahnya

Daniel 7:16

Lalu kudekati salah seorang dari mereka yang berdiri di sana dan kuminta penjelasan tentang semuanya itu Maka berkatalah ia kepadaku dan diberitahukannyalah kepadaku maknanya

Sekianlah berita itu Adapun aku Daniel pikiran-pikiranku sangat menggelisahkan aku sehingga aku menjadi pucat dan aku menyimpan hal itu dalam ingatanku
