Daniel 2:19

Maka rahasia itu disingkapkan kepada Daniel dalam suatu penglihatan malam Lalu Daniel memuji Allah semesta langit

Lalu diikatlah ketiga orang itu dengan jubah celana topi dan pakaian-pakaian mereka yang lain dan dicampakkan ke dalam perapian yang menyala-nyala

Lalu berdirilah Daniel yang namanya Beltsazar tercengang beberapa saat pikiran-pikirannya menggelisahkan dia Berkatalah raja Beltsazar janganlah mimpi dan maknanya itu menggelisahkan engkau Beltsazar menjawab Tuanku biarlah mimpi itu tertimpa atas musuh tuanku dan maknanya atas seteru tuanku

Lalu raja menjadi pucat dan pikiran-pikirannya menggelisahkan dia sendi-sendi pangkal pahanya menjadi lemas dan lututnya berantukan

Lalu atas titah Belsyazar dikenakanlah kepada Daniel pakaian dari kain ungu dan pada lehernya dikalungkan rantai emas dan dimaklumkanlah tentang dia bahwa di dalam kerajaan ia akan mempunyai kekuasaan sebagai orang ketiga

Daniel 6:11

Lalu orang-orang itu bergegas-gegas masuk dan mendapati Daniel sedang berdoa dan bermohon kepada Allahnya

Lalu bergegas-gegaslah orang-orang itu menghadap raja serta berkata kepadanya Ketahuilah ya raja bahwa menurut undang-undang orang Media dan Persia tidak ada larangan atau penetapan yang dikeluarkan raja yang dapat diubah

Lalu pergilah raja ke istananya dan berpuasalah ia semalam-malaman itu ia tidak menyuruh datang penghibur-penghibur dan ia tidak dapat tidur

Lalu sangat sukacitalah raja dan ia memberi perintah supaya Daniel ditarik dari dalam gua itu Maka ditariklah Daniel dari dalam gua itu dan tidak terdapat luka apa-apa padanya karena ia percaya kepada Allahnya
