Kemudian ia mendirikan tembok luar pada kota Daud di sebelah Barat Gihon di lembah sampai dekat Pintu Gerbang Ikan mengelilingi Ofel Tembok itu dibuatnya sangat tinggi Ia menempatkan juga panglima-panglima perang di tiap kota kubu di Yehuda
