Tujuh hari lamanya orang Israel yang berada di Yerusalem merayakan hari raya Roti Tidak Beragi dengan kesukaan yang besar sedang orang-orang Lewi dan para imam setiap hari menyanyikan puji-pujian bagi TUHAN dengan sekuat tenaga

Ia menyuruh semua orang yang berada di Yerusalem dan Benyamin ikut serta dalam perjanjian itu Dan penduduk Yerusalem berbuat menurut perjanjian Allah yakni Allah nenek moyang mereka
