Kemudian Yoyada menyerahkan pengawasan atas rumah TUHAN kepada imam-imam dan orang-orang Lewi yang telah dibagi-bagi dalam rombongan oleh Daud untuk bertugas di dalam rumah TUHAN yakni untuk mempersembahkan korban bakaran kepada TUHAN seperti tertulis di dalam Taurat Musa dengan sukaria dan dengan nyanyian menurut petunjuk Daud
