Lalu Daud menyerahkan kepada Salomo anaknya rencana bangunan dari balai Bait Suci dan ruangan-ruangannya dari perbendaharaannya kamar-kamar atas dan kamar-kamar dalamnya serta dari ruangan untuk tutup pendamaian

Sesudah ia selesai dengan mengukur seluruh bangunan dalam itu ia mengiring aku menuju pintu gerbang yang menghadap ke sebelah timur lalu mengukur sekeliling lingkungan Bait Suci itu

Maka engkau hai anak manusia terangkanlah kepada kaum Israel tentang Bait Suci ini agar mereka menjadi malu melihat kesalahan-kesalahan mereka juga bagaimana Bait Suci itu kelihatan dan rancangannya
