Lagi kata Ruben kepada mereka Janganlah tumpahkan darah lemparkanlah dia ke dalam sumur yang ada di padang gurun ini tetapi janganlah apa-apakan dia maksudnya hendak melepaskan Yusuf dari tangan mereka dan membawanya kembali kepada ayahnya
