Mezbah-mezbah yang ada di atas sotoh tempat peranginan Ahas yang dibuat oleh raja-raja Yehuda dan mezbah-mezbah yang dibuat Manasye di kedua pelataran rumah TUHAN dirobohkan oleh raja dan diremukkan di sana lalu dicampakkannya abunya ke sungai Kidron

Mezbah-mezbah para Baal dirobohkan di hadapannya ia menghancurkan pedupaan-pedupaan yang ada di atasnya ia meremukkan dan menghancurluluhkan tiang-tiang berhala patung-patung pahatan dan patung-patung tuangan dan menghamburkannya ke atas kuburan orang-orang yang mempersembahkan korban kepada berhala-berhala itu

Jeremiah 17:2

sebagai peringatan terhadap mereka Mezbah-mezbah mereka dan tiang-tiang berhala mereka memang ada di samping pohon yang rimbun di atas bukit yang tinggi
