Yerobeam menetapkan hari raya pada hari ke-15 bulan ke-8 sama seperti hari raya yang ada di Yehuda dan dia mempersembahkan kurban di atas mazbah Dia melakukannya di Betel untuk mempersembahkan kurban kepada anak-anak sapi yang telah dia buat Di Betel dia menetapkan imam-imam di bukit-bukit pengurbanan yang telah dia buat
