1 Kings 9:9

Mereka akan berkata Sebab mereka telah meninggalkan TUHAN Allah mereka yang telah membawa keluar nenek moyang mereka dari tanah Mesir lalu berpegang pada ilah-ilah lain dan sujud menyembah serta beribadah kepada ilah-ilah itu Itulah sebabnya TUHAN mendatangkan kepada mereka seluruh malapetaka ini

Dia berkata Pantang bagiku ya Allah untuk melakukan hal ini Haruskah aku meminum darah orang-orang ini Sebab mereka membawa air ini dengan mempertaruhkan nyawa mereka Itulah sebabnya Daud tidak mau meminum air itu Inilah yang dilakukan oleh tiga pahlawan itu
