Yoab sujud dengan muka ke tanah untuk menyembah dan memohon berkat bagi raja Yoab berkata Pada hari ini hambamu mengetahui bahwa aku telah mendapat kemurahan dalam pandangan Tuanku Raja sebab raja telah mengabulkan permintaan hambamu ini

Kemudian dia kembali kepada abdi Allah itu bersama seluruh pasukannya Sesudah sampai dia berdiri di hadapan Elisa dan berkata Lihatlah sekarang aku mengetahui bahwa tidak ada Allah di seluruh bumi kecuali di Israel Oleh sebab itu terimalah sekarang pemberian dari hambamu ini
