Lalu Akhis memanggil Daud dan berkata kepadanya Demi TUHAN yang hidup kamu orang yang jujur dan baik dalam pandanganku saat kamu keluar dan kamu masuk bersamaku dalam pertempuran Sebab aku tidak mendapati kejahatan padamu sejak hari kedatanganmu sampai hari ini Namun raja-raja kota tidak menyukaimu
