Pelayannya itu pulang dan Daud tampil dari sebelah bukit batu Dia sujud dengan muka ke tanah dan menyembah tiga kali Mereka berciuman satu dengan yang lain dan menangis satu dengan yang lain tetapi Daud paling banyak menangis

Lalu dia bangkit dan bersujud dengan muka sampai ke tanah sambil berkata Sesungguhnya hambamu ini ingin menjadi pelayan untuk membasuh kaki para hamba dari tuanku itu
