Ketika Saul melihat Daud maju menghadapi orang Filistin itu dia bertanya kepada Abner panglima tentaranya Anak siapakah pemuda itu Abner Abner menjawab Demi tuanku yang hidup ya Raja aku tidak mengetahuinya

Oleh sebab itu dengan segenap hati jika tuanku raja ingin datang datanglah Kami serahkan dia ke dalam tangan raja
