Eli berkata Firman apa yang Dia sampaikan kepadamu Jangan sembunyikan hal itu dariku Kiranya Allah akan berperkara kepadamu bahkan lebih lagi jika kamu menyembunyikan dariku sepatah kata pun dari seluruh perkataan yang disampaikan-Nya kepadamu

Demikianlah raja tidak mendengarkan rakyat itu karena perubahan peristiwa itu terjadi dari TUHAN sesuai firman yang telah disampaikan-Nya melalui Ahia orang Silo kepada Yerobeam anak Nebat
