Dari tahun ke tahun laki-laki itu pergi dari kotanya ke Silo untuk beribadah dan mempersembahkan kurban kepada TUHAN semesta alam Kedua anak Imam Eli yaitu Hofni dan Pinehas menjadi imam TUHAN di sana
