Dia mengangkatnya lalu pergi ke kota Mertuanya melihat apa yang sudah dipungutnya itu maka Rut pun mengeluarkan dan memberikan kepada mertuanya sisa makanan yang disimpan sebelumnya karena dia sudah kenyang
