Ketiga pasukan itu meniup trompet dan memecahkan tempayan dengan memegang suluh di tangan kirinya dan meniup trompet di tangan kanannya sambil berseru Pedang untuk TUHAN dan untuk Gideon

Ketika ketiga ratus orang itu meniup trompet TUHAN mengarahkan pedang seseorang kepada yang lain di seluruh pertendaan itu sehingga tentara musuh lari sampai ke Bet-Sita ke arah Zerera sampai ke tepi Abel-Mehola di dekat Tabat
