Judges 7:3

Karena itu sekarang serukanlah ke telinga orang-orang itu katakan Siapa yang takut dan gemetar biarlah dia kembali dan pulang dari Pegunungan Gilead Lalu dua puluh dua ribu orang dari rakyat itu kembali tetapi sepuluh ribu orang tetap tinggal

Namun mereka tidak mendengarkan ataupun menyendengkan telinga mereka tetapi mengikuti kedegilan kehendak hati mereka yang jahat dan berjalan mundur bukannya maju

Jeremiah 7:26

Namun mereka tidak mendengarkan Aku ataupun menyendengkan telinga mereka tetapi mengeraskan leher mereka Mereka melakukan yang lebih jahat daripada nenek moyang mereka
