Akan tetapi jika kamu menganggap bahwa tidak baik melayani TUHAN pilihlah pada hari ini kepada siapa kamu akan melayani ilah yang disembah nenek moyangmu di seberang Sungai Efrat atau ilah orang Amori yang kamu diami negerinya Akan tetapi aku dan seisi rumahku akan melayani TUHAN

TUHANlah yang mencerai-beraikan seluruh bangsa dan orang Amori penduduk negeri ini dari hadapan kita Kami pun akan melayani TUHAN karena Dialah Allah kita
