Sebab keturunan Yusuf berjumlah dua suku yaitu Manasye dan Efraim Karena itu tidak ada bagian yang diberikan kepada suku Lewi di negeri itu selain kota-kota untuk didiami dengan tanah-tanah penggembalaan untuk ternak dan hewan mereka
